Introduction to our Leisure Reading Collection

In addition to making academic resources accessible to students, faculty and staff, the J. Eugene Smith Library also makes accessible leisure or recreational reading resources, for example, print books, ebooks, and audiobooks.   These resources are made accessible for your reading pleasure!

They include popular fiction and non-fiction titles in several genres, for example, science fiction, fantasy, crime, mystery, horror, historical, thriller, romance, realistic, global, and contemporary.   These resources are collected with teens and adults in mind.

The leisure or recreational collections are located on the first, second, and third floors of the Library.  The majority of the "young adult" or "YA" titles are on the first floor.   The "adult" titles are on the third floor.  The newest additions to the collection are displayed on the second floor across from the elevators.

We collect popular, bestselling, and award-winning titles.  We also welcome suggestions from you.
