... Still under construction!

    Did You Know...

Need a quiet spot to study or a place to do group work?  Go to the circulation desk and check out a key to a library study room.

The library's third floor is the designated Quiet Floor.

Each semester your ID/CatCard has $15.00 on it to be used for printing in the library or Webb 410.

Like to read?  We have a Leisure Reading Collection. Find it in front of the elevator on the 2nd floor.

The library is wireless - bring your laptop and find a comfortable space to work.

The information found within this guide will assist you in finding current and older articles in Smith Library's Sociology-specific databases; also newspapers, additional databases and resources in print and on the web for SOC 350.

Click on the Library Links, Database Search, Find Books and Media, Find Articles, Google Scholar, Multi-Databases Search, Journal Locator, ASA Citation from Purdue, Citation Machines & Guides, Plagiarism,  or Websites tabs.

Box on the right has my contact info. Let me know via email if you need help finding sources.

    Academic Services Center

REMEMBER, the Academic Services Center has a Writing Center if you need writing or citation help. The center is located on the Library's first floor next to the Library Cafe.

The Writing Center is a writing support service staffed by specially trained student tutors. The tutors are selected by the English Dept. for their writing ability and their interest in helping other students with writing assignments.

Students are encouraged to use the support offered by the Academic Services Center. Tutoring, Math, Writing, and supplemental Advising Services are available for students in the Center. For further information call (860) 465-4272 or check the ASC website for hours.
