Library & Archival Preservation  

Preservation Week will be celebrated April 21-27, 2013, sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA).

This is an opportunity for libraries and others to highlight what we do, individually and together, to preserve our personal and shared collections.

This guide's purpose is to raise awareness about issues relating to preservation of books and other materials, both in a library setting and in personal collections. Links to many resources are provided as a starting point to learn more about saving our heritage and collections.
